Refund Policy
1. Purchases are processed by Paddle (Merchant of Record)
Paid openpouch subscriptions are sold and processed by Paddle.com as our Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller of record: it handles the checkout, issues the invoice, collects applicable taxes, and processes payments and refunds. Paddle's buyer terms and support apply to the purchase transaction alongside this policy.
2. Refunds
- You can request a refund within 14 days of a purchase or renewal — via Paddle's buyer support at paddle.net (fastest) or by emailing us at [email protected]; we will pass your request to Paddle.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method by Paddle. Processing times depend on your payment provider.
- We may decline refund requests in cases of abuse (e.g. repeated purchase-and-refund cycles or violations of our Terms of Service), within the limits of applicable law.
3. Cancelling a subscription
- You can cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep the paid capabilities until then.
- After cancellation there is no further charge. Except where required by law (or covered by Section 2), already-elapsed billing periods are not refunded pro rata.
- Cancelling never deletes your deployed apps or data by itself; your account simply returns to the free tier and its limits.
4. Free tier
The instant lane and the free account tier are free of charge — nothing is billed there, so nothing needs refunding. This policy applies to the paid subscriptions (see Terms, Section 7).
5. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits your mandatory statutory rights, including any applicable consumer withdrawal rights in your country of residence. Where the law grants you more than this policy does, the law prevails.
